I am trying to diagnose a persistent hardware problem with my computer. The issue are crashes whenever I run intensive 3D games. Of course, the graphics card is the prime suspect for this, but the particular card has already been through an RMA once and I really don't want to return it again unless I can be completely certain it is the problem.
Lastly, as my internal drives have data on them, the only drive I have available for this is an external 2.5Ē USB HDD. Is it possible to install Windows to an external hard drive like this?

If not I suppose I could create a temporary partition on one of the existing internal drives, but I really donít want to mess with my existing set up for fear of breaking something that is working fine now.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Please help.

Thanks!

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
